What These Mean
Monthly Active Users (MAU)
A unique device that checks for or downloads a deploy within a billing cycle. Devices that check in but receive no new deploy still count toward your quota.
Bundle Size
Maximum size of a single JavaScript bundle. Differential patches are much smaller than the full bundle.
API Rate Limits
Per API key, per minute. If you hit the limit, requests return a 429 status until the window resets.
Analytics Retention
How long analytics data is kept. Older releases are archived but bundles remain available.
Exceeding Limits
Soft Limits
You receive email notifications at 80% and 90% of your monthly MAU quota.
Hard Limits
At 100% of your MAU quota:
- New deploy checks return "up to date"
- Existing installed deploys continue to work
- Dashboard and API remain accessible
Your app will not break if you hit the limit. Users just will not receive new updates until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade.
Upgrading
Upgrade at any time in Settings > Billing. New limits take effect immediately.
